Mercari Complaint
My address is not working and I KNOW it's valid.
When I got back home, I decided to use my card. I entered all of my information including my address, zip code, etc. and I even DOUBLE CHECKED IT and I googled it just to make sure I was entering the correct address code and that my address was valid. I then entered my debit card number and clicked "add card"
When I did this, something popped up telling me to "check my zip billing address" so I checked it again and reentered. it did the SAME THING. So after two times, I contacted customer support because I thought they could help and they definitely DID NOT help. I'm pretty sure they didn't even care!
First off, let me start off by saying it took them about a day and a half to get back to me which is unecessary. I know that they have other customers to take care of, but that waiting was ridiculous.
When I finally got a reply, I was told that my issue "seemed serious", that it would be taken care of ASAP, and that I would get a reply when the issue was taken care of. I did get a reply, but guess what it was? and AUTOMATED MESSAGE. They literally copy and pasted a part of the FAQ and then put Sincerely, Jobelle. How messed up is that? They made me wait 2 days alone just to get a reply ALL FOR NOTHING. I do not recommend using this app unless you are lucky and have an address that they would actually consider "valid". Wow.
